Dr. Wiley is board certified in the diagnosis and surgical management of benign and malignant disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. At Animas Surgical Hospital we have special equipment which may help prevent injury and can aid in predicting voice box function after surgery.

Endoscopic and Minimally Invasive Sinus Surgery

Sinus surgery is indicated for patients with recurrent acute sinus infections, chronic sinusitis, or concern for cancers of the sinuses and nasal cavity. Most sinus problems are related to swelling inside the nose. At Durango ENT we offer comprehensive care of the nose and sinuses to include allergy testing and treatment as well as surgery. We have access to the most advanced equipment and techniques available to include image navigation and balloon sinus dilation.

Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy

At Durango ENT we treat all aspects of tonsil and adenoid issues. We use some of the most advanced techniques and equipment to minimize pain and speed recovery.  Most surgeries are performed in children for symptomatic enlargement of the tonsils and/or adenoids and concern for obstructive sleep apnea. Tonsils are sometimes removed for recurrent infections in both children and adults. Please remember that all surgical procedures have both risk and benefits and it is important to discuss these with your surgeon.

Surgical treatment of pediatric disorders of the ear nose and throat

At Durango ENT we provide comprehensive care of childhood disorders of the head and neck including treatment of recurrent and chronic ear infections, snoring and sleep apnea, enlarged lymph nodes, and congenital neck masses.
